Project 2 - Final

Drawings :

Poche Drawings

Floor one
Floor two
Floor three
Section A
Section B

Axonometric

Pictures of Model :

Floor one responds to the grid of the site and the shape of the building.
The viewer becomes confused.
Floor two rotates the grid.
The viewer becomes lost, and is constantly directed towards views of the world outside.

Floor three holds a very private and secluded space for the occupant's most secretive affairs.
Height of the interior walls decrease from the inside towards the exterior, allowing light to illuminate the public spaces, whilst it filters into the private spaces towards the interior.
Small pockets of space allow the occupant to carry out various activities, some open to be observed by people from the outside, some secluded and hidden away.
Site : Corner between 2 buildings.

The underside of Floor three, which is a space open to pedestrians.
The skin which encloses various complexities within.

On Floor two, the viewer is constantly diverted towards the exterior, away from the entrance to Floor three.
I set out to challenge the concept and perception of the traditional window.
With the use of glazed walls and bare openings, the viewer will question, which then is the window?
